Material / Production: Japan

90% cotton 10% Linen

- the fabric is Batik dyed. (in Hamamatsu, Japan)
This technique has been used to create Japanese *Kimono patternS since the 8th century.
The craftsmen draw the pattern on a fabric with a brush and melted wax.
After dyeing the fabric and removing wax, a pattern appears.
Although the process is simple, it is extremely time consuming due to the amount of steps that must be
completed by hand.
